You think your having a good day! Well imagine if you pulled in $37,000 in one day. That is right Iphone app developer Ethan Nicholas pulled in some serious green after his Ishoot game hit number one. Needless to say he called in for work, and gave the boss a goodbye wave.

It seems to me I might be in the wrong business, is that right 37 g’s in one day! This is some serious retirement money if I say so! Heck you could buy a house a week or save up and open a your own shopping mall.

How many people can say they have made $37,000 in one day? I can be honest and say I never even have dreamed of making that kinda flow. After reading this short story by techcrunch it really puts in perspective the amount of money that can be made. I knew Iphones were hot, but this just blows my mind.

So much money from a game, what about the 15,000 other apps out there!( 15,000 iphone apps ) So there are a lot of free ones I have found, but many are limited and some have ads. Largest on-line Credit card fraud case

11 people have been charged with the largest credit card fraud ever. Three of the people indicted were America and from Miami. The men drove around looking for open wifi and would find a business and use sniffing programs to find sensitive information using a technique called "ware Driving!"

They had acquired around 40 million credit and debit numbers. They targeted retailers such as: Barnes & Noble, Office Max Bj's Wholesale club, Forever 21, Sports Authority and many others.

The men would tap into wireless networks and retrieve information using laptops and sniffer programs. After they would get the information and passwords they would sale of the 3's and make cards to get money out of atms.
One of the men in the indictment is a Albert"Segvec" Gonzalez who worked as a confidential informant for the Secret Service. He faces life in prison!

This Fraud case be only a baby compared to other crimes that are committed today. I am sure someone else is doing the same thing in another city. With todays availability of wifi and going to the pawn shop buying a used laptop anything is possible!

I really hope crimes like this don't make businesses shut off there wifi to the public. I hope they will find a better solution like joining a network that will allow preaproved surfers to surf free. Like people who have google accounts or other registered accounts.

ICANN Opening up the possibilities

Just recently I saw news a rumor that we might be running out of web space, but that has all changed last week. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers unanimously approved to make new guidelines. It has said that they are approving hundreds and maybe thousands of new domain names addresses.

For the past 25 years ICANN has used the same kind of naming system including the popular.com. The new domains will really widen the possibilities for naming site addresses. You will see many new names including more area specific addresses as well. It will also open the possibilities for business as well open the door of many new net marketers.

The fees for the new names are being worked on and are expected to exceed over $100,000 each to help cover a whopping $20 million for the project!

Maybe the net was about to end, but not now buddy! You name it and it will be made in time! This may really be the biggest story since the net started back in the day. It will for sure open up another door to the possibilities of Internet marketing and may be a wonderful thing or it may be curse! Only time will tell you my friend! Sydney- Australia has introduced a code of conduct similar to what you find in the movies. They have devised a coded of conduct for on-line and mobile phones. It is only for content that originates in Australia.

I am sure you will see many more rules and regulations in the United States soon. If you watch the news you see many kids getting in trouble for phone sex and sharing images!

The problem is , where are the borders? So is all information published on the net public or private? When you send it through a text are you broadcasting? When you use a service like twitter to broadcast links, I would say you are publicly broadcasting.
Ok if you send a picture of you to one person through your phone is this private? These are some of the many questions that can be asked about the net and your phone connected to it!
I can bet you that in the future private information exchange networks will be the big thing, who regulate them? Can the government just regulate everything till the point we no longer have any freedom? Who is going to regulate the regulators?

New study find that 85% of on-line prescription drugs are filled without a prescription. The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University in New York, said that most filled were for controlled substances like, Xanax, Benzodiazepines and Valium. They studied 365 internet pharmacies and found this shocking discovery.
It was reported that it was very difficult to know the exact numbers and sales that are made without a prescription.

Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge will be broadcasting wifi up to 100 feet of the vehicle. You will be able to surf the web, look for directions, call for food, or check the weather, how about surf youtube?

It sounds like a scary and crazy venture to me with positive aspects and negative ones also. With all the fun and games comes with the sad side as well! What about people that use the mobile technology for crime? Real time web surfing freaks is what I am talking about!

I like the idea being able to be connected to the world for business and travel purposes. What bothers me is the people that misuse it and try to chat on yahoo while drives. OR watch youtube or some other video service while behind the wheel.
Wouldn't be bad while stuck in Atlanta, Ga traffic at 6 friday and catch of todays craziest news. It is a tech head world we live and it is officially about to get crazier!

I found a good articles today on Yahoo news talking about how gas prices will drive many people to the Internet as way to meet for business! The way of the old world may be behind us soon as many people start to work from home and never even drive to work. Will the net be full of video meetings and on-line office affairs! Will people sit at home in their boxers while they conference to thousands?

I can see it now, the whole world will be wired together and meeting in on-line video chat rooms to talk the business that keeps companies rolling and making the money.
Just imagine how much money could be saved if almost everyone worked from home and never even used a drop of gas or bought that pricey ticket to fly to New York? I bet some CEO’s would cry if they got that gold card taken away, no more trips to the strip club!

My only concern is on-line pirates who may steal invaluable information that could bring billion dollar companies to the ground in a second. We have seen it before, you know the guy who jacked the laptop full of thousands of peoples private information as well account information. What is crazy, it is easier for a hacker to jack your information than you ever dreamed. It can be done in many ways; it may be a virus through an email or a program that you never knew you downloaded.

I really can see a bright future for Internet safe companies that store information and super secure video chat-rooms. After all do you really know who is watching your video cam? As these gas prices get higher and higher you will for sure see more people blogging about it and more people working at home on the computer.

I really do wonder what this will do for all the large buildings downtown in the cities. Will people one day turn the building into apartments? I always though people should just live in the office and not commute, after all they would same a few billion in gas. See you on the side of the road!

AP making Blogger rules

More and more internet bloggers are finding stories and posting them all over the net. Many rewrite the stories and many may copy the story and credit the publisher. The AP is about to meet with Robert Cox, president of Media Bloggers Association. This meeting comes after the AP sent a legal notice to a blogger who made a peridy of the Drudge Report, called the DRudge Retort.

The net is still in the early years and many laws haven't yet been made to protect net copyright. There are a few folks out there that think the reform of blogging and news information will discourage blogging and hurt the business. I know for sure that I will be watching my steps on my blogs and attribute stories the best I can. I have one blog where I take strange news stories and rewrite them in my own way but I always research the story and give the most reliable information. I have found that many stories will be different from news station to news station, with obvious errors in the reporting. I have even mailed fox news a few times to tell them that they had incorrect information in a few stores, guess what they said,nothing. Fox did not even mail me back, I was a bit hurt.

But anyway, getting a little side-tracked! So The AP has decided to find some of the small guys and bring legal action against them for copyright violation. I could see them trying to sue if a story is in the same wording and same style. I can not see them proving that someone ever got the story from them. Not only do thousands of news agencies gets stories from the AP, but there are other news sources all over. It would be very hard to prove that someone copied a story unless it was word for word. Also someone might find a story on the AP and look it up somewhere else and copy the story from another source. Sure you can use an IP number to track someone's movement, but how can you really prove it?

That is just the start of a few questions in copyright issues. What about the fashion that a blog is hosted? For example, you may host at blogger or another blogging platform and the AP would have to contact the company. What if you hosted on a private server and your Domain was private also, seems like it could be a tough situation. In a few weeks I am sure the net will be buzzing about the meeting that the AP will have.

The AP does say that they have will be easy on bloggers and give them a chance before any legal action happens. The main point is context and how bloggers can take a story out of context. Another thing I have noticed is how a story can change, like in a law case! You really have to stay on top of stories and give proper information. Not only does bloggers build a stronger internet business but they also help the networks by getting the stories out to the world. Maybe one day there will be a happy coexistence between the news wires and the blog lines.

News Corp, Google releasing social software

News Corp.'s MySpace and Facebook have promised to release tools to incorporate profile data, friends lists and other social functions. I would say it is smart and bold move on New's Corp's sites! IT will defiantly open the doors to endless possibilities like a few of the other bookmarking sites have. I have found a few other social networking sites , well more of social bookmarking sites that allow you to pull in your other bookmarks and data! I like what the social site-hopping style will for networking. The idea came from complaints of people having to retype new profiles on every social networking site out there! I laughed when i heard this! All you gotta do is copy and paste information from your a text pad! Well like most people this is what i did for my first 20 sites! Then one day i found a site that I could just copy my profile information from and paste to anywhere! Bebo is the site and it is pretty cool but i haven't had many visits on it but works great for me!

They will use software that will allow places like Ebay and other site to pull your information! I laughed when i read the article on Yahoo and wondered! Why in the world do you just not pull a RSS feed from your profile and share it in this manner? It seems so simple to me after seeing how many sites are making widgets and add-ons that allow you to pull your feed to your site! Actually it is web marketers dream machine and can be a super I mean super duper tool for finding clients "surfers!"
I could actually see the system that comes out would be like a widget machine that allows you make a profile widget and has an option for raw code or web address or maybe even a feed! YOu got to admit the heat is on and the web movement just got a good bit hotter! It is turning into a big chili cooking contest and the big dawns want to win!

The big argument on making a move to open profile information for the world to see. See the truth is, anytime you Publish information on the net is out in space and can be copied. Once you said it is done much like being recorded by video or in pencil, but much easier to copy and paste! So you should be willing to express you voice and understand that there can always repercussions from what you say. So be real and understand that there are boundries on the net just like real life, you may one day lay president to a new cyber law!

I really think that having a company like Google releasing software for information sharing is awesome and will open many doors. For now I see Google being a leader in information and be a leader in the new web movement! I use Adsense, Adwords, Blogger, and few other google services and enjoy the easy to use style they have! The social networking Facebook announced a redesign this week in hopes to clean up design. They also hoping to make it more organized and easier to use. The site has over 20,000 applications and they are making four categories to choose from. I do have facebook and have found it annoying at best and most of the applications are just useless and the ones I wanted I could not find!
Over all I have found Facebook to be a pretty cool site and haven't added any friends since I have been a member since the New Year! Unlike Myspace and other social networking sites Facebook seems to be pretty chilled out and not taken over by bandits yet!
It is odd though that I use basically the same profile information on my 30 or so social networking sites and have found Facebook to have the least traffic! It says I have 24 visits and all of them were me! Maybe I will find out how to open the gates and get the fire moving until then I will be counting stars! More on this soon!

A few weeks ago I was at the gas station as I was feeling the tank up on my way to work. The amount passed thirty and I started to sweat hoping that it would not go beyond 40! The price of gas was right at $3.50 for a gallon for the cheap stuff, just enough to get me around twenty miles. Just a couple a days ago I noticed the price has risen almost 20 cents and it seems to not be stopping!

I can’t help to notice not only does the gas prices kill a huge amount of profit margin but it also has been affecting the price of other goods and services around. I was shopping for food last week and had 6 items and it came out to $25 and I just could not believe how high things have gone up! It is because of one reason and that is because gas prices have risen and the amount of money people are making hasn’t risen much at all!

I have been lucky to make decent money but I have to drive a good bit to work and it really hurts my pocket! I remember back when I could drive 5 hours to Florida and back for around thirty bucks and now it would around 80-100 depending on how high gas prices get!

It has cut so much into my earning that I had to start 4 blogs and two sites just to make enough x-tra income to live and be healthy in this life. I have to admit that I have become a penny pincher and the high gas prices have kept me from traveling as much as I would like.
I am very concerned that lower income people are having a very tough time making ends meet and feeding the family. There has to be a better solution to lower gas prices and if everyone worked hard to express your opinion then the change may be made, until then prices will continue to rise!

Here is what you can! Start a your own blog and express your feelings about gas prices and the way our country is ran! Then join every blog directory and spread the word about your blog! Next mail your officials and let them know your children are starving and if we ended the war we could use that money to lower gas prices. Next, write articles and spread them around the net voicing your opinion!

There must be a solution for the crisis we are in and it will not change unless we become the change! Not only does war effect gas but it also affects the life of the ones who are protecting our country! It is time to bring home our soldiers and develop a better solution for fuel! Become the change you want to see!

I decide to write this short blog in support of an issue that is very serious and seems to be getting worse! Without spreading the word and becoming a involved in the movement there will be no change and here is a great way to spread the word and start your own on-line power force! Looking for a way to get some great traffic to your site or blog? I have been publishing articles for a year and have found some of the hottest sites on the net. If you really want to find long-term traffic that is targeted to your niche I recommend writing articles. Articles are one of the most solid ways to get clicks to your page and may last for years and years!

Is social networking really anti-social networking? Some people may think so but the advances in wireless and phone services may balance the trends a little! Now you see more and more people at the bar on-line via their new Iphone model than ever. It will not be long till you see surfers hitting the Wal-mart isles live blogging as they shop. It woud be nice to call it a fad, but it reality and unfolding before your eyes! Not only will people be live on cam, but some of them may be getting paid soon!

Today I had visions that many other have probably had and I had to put it on paper before it drove me crazy! Could social networking be the beast that tears apart society and drive the new bloggers and web gurus into isolation? Could this really be the end for society and the end to bars and clubs and real human contact?

So one day someone figured out that they could use social networking sites to communicate to the world and their friends and never have to leave the house! Hey you can even add a nice badge to your site and ask for a beer or coffee donation, beats wearing a sign that says broke need beer at the bar!

The new world of networking is ever changing and the ideas people come up with are crazy. Who would have ever though to make a donate badge, hook it up to paypal and wait for a reward? I made one with a coffee cup picture and photoshop and Paypal and it took a few hours to make before I was happy! Anyone can do it within a few minutes and find a happy result, I am just slow!

As the net grows more and more everyday people are starting to understand how easy net marketing can be. There are even people that have no knowledge of the net making very good money. Don’t get me wrong many fail hard and land on concrete one day.

The idea of a network is simple and a salesman might understand the vision with no problems. Oh wait he is a salesman though! If he was only a programmer or coder and maybe a socialite and trendsetter or just an insane blogger he might have the skills of Bill Gates.

Don’t we all wish it were that simple, in reality many people really don’t know what a network is these days. It seems there are so many networks out there to choose from. Not only are people joining these networks but also they are video blogging and working the waves with might of superman(or woman)! Not just working the waves but setting them on fire!

Some people claim that just youtube has made them a wealth of money in the past few years. Just like American Idol, everybody wants to know what is new! It is like that hush hush joke that you pretend you didn’t hear! But people want new things, out with the old. Like many on-line Networks the day will come when YouTube will float down the river and get bought or just die.

The net has always been like this and a site is kind of like a bar, when people get tired of that old bar, there will be a new owner ready to party for a while.

Look at Myspace, it is really really hot and wished I owned it. You would find me on a beach in the keys watching the sun go down wondering who’s going to be the next myspace, oh wait I meant building the newest one!

Like all companies that become larger in time they change and roll with the corporate punches. A web site will start to develop that corporate cold feeling after awhile if you don’t have the right players on the team and have the right causes.

I see more and more companies not have customer service these days and less of that down home feel! Don’t you want someone to call you and tell you what day that new bike you just bought comes in or makes sure your getting the right color? That is a dream, for business to be real in life and on the net!

There is one big issue here, what is the net and what is real?
It is easy for someone to pretend and to be motivated by money or fame. There are many reasons to use the net whether it is good or bad, hopefully for the good! To educate and inform or to persuade or just to free your mind the possibilities are endless!

There is an important thing people must learn about the net, everything that you read, hear, or see may not be real! It is shocking and it is true, but the net is a big pool of information made by people like you and me. You know kick back some coffee and write a hundred and fifty miles per hour. Well except for the networks and news sites they are legit! Look for a BBB on the bottom of the site!

So there are bloggers right now settings the net waves on fire looking to find your click. They breathe, eat and sleep blogging and probably thinking about their next blog while they shower, cook, clean, or drive the car, they are Pro Bloggers!

They are so Pro at blogging that many never leave home and order pizza and if they do, they are surfing hard on that new iphone! It is a mad blogging world and I can’t figure out how I got here. I do know that it is addictive and it has had an astounding social effect on me and my social life. Even so much I will carry my laptop around like a hound dog waiting to catch some free wifi.

Many people who get addicted to the net café’s say that they will talk to their friends on-line and them being only right beside them, that is connected. Who would have ever thought they we would be staring into bright screens looking for hope and a lighter future? Some may call this world disconnected, to each their own way! How to make a Paypal Donate now button from your own Image!

Been wondering how to make Donate button with your own image? It is easy and simple and can be done in 30 minutes with good luck!

Find a pic to import into photoshot add your text! Be sure to size it for your liking. I made mine 200x150 and it is just a tad bit to big, but it works fine! Ok once you get that pic saved, save as a jpg and save to your desktop! Now go to your image hosting site (Flickr, photobucket.com, what I use) I love how easy it is to use each one of these, plus great editing options also! Upload your photo to your account, now name it and give it some tags! Ok now go to Paypal and sign in and go to Merchant Services and then go to Create buttons and click on Donate once! Now give it a name and set amount (leave blank if you want your donator to pick the amount!) Now click on the link “use your own button image” Go to your link (called direct link) on image hosting and left mouse click and copy the URL! Now insert the URL into the Button Image URL: This what you will see after you click USE your own button image!

You also need to add more options. Click on the add more options button and it will take you to another page! Here you will choose which e-mail address will receive payment as well adding a thanks you page address. This is to send to a thanks you page which you can make on a blog page. I use a page on wordpress blog and keep it private so it does not get crawled!
After you pick all your settings just click Create button now! All you have to do now is copy your code and insert into your site and the button should be working. Just click on it and see if it takes you to the donate page! Simple as that! Once you do it is so easy and fast to do! I wish you luck thanks!

Networking at the speed of Light

So you got the ache in your brain and you want to start a web based business but you don’t know where to get started. We have all been here before and once you’re over the getting started hump you start to see a little light on the other side.

I was introduced to the net roughly in the early nineties but never really started surfing till the mid nineties in college. It was amazing at the vast amount of information that you could find and the crazy stories you would run into.

It wouldn’t be for long before society was using it for business and personal use and somewhere along the way they got married, and boom came the “Net Revolution.”

The net started in 1969 when two computers -- one in Los Angeles, the other in Palo Alto -- were networked together. Now with over a billion users and growing a whopping %18 it is one of fastest growing businesses in the world. To be exact 1,319,872,109 out of 6,606,971,659 people that is a bunch of people!

With the technology advances in wireless you can expect that number to growing even faster. It will not be long till the planet Earth is wifi and you will be able to surf anywhere at anytime. If you have an Iphone you can already do if you get reception.

I really believe when the net was invented that nobody ever would have thought it would be so powerful and define a whole culture.

The idea of a wireless signal never really amounted to anything and most of America didn’t even have phone lines back in the day. Now you will see a rising number of net users all over through the countryside and in the urban areas.

One thing I have noticed after all these years is the numbers of companies that fail or get bought out. When I was watching the news and saw Microsoft wanted to buy Yahoo $42 billion, I was in shock. To me Yahoo represents the little guy and without them it would be way harder for the real person to get in there. Aren’t we all just little guys in the grand scheme?

Now that makes me wonder if one day computers will take over all e-commerce, bet I could write a book about that one! It would not be hard for a hacker to take over and run the net networked through a stolen laptop, through a bunch of private servers and stealing wifi on that hot laptop. There are many scenarios that could happen but for now while Webmaster John tries to fix that e-mail or photo we are all safe.

Anyway back to the story so after years of reading and surfing and seeing crazy ads and even shopping at on-line stores I have decided to try and make some money on here.
In over a year’s time I studied how to make a site from the ground up and get traffic to the site. So after I built one it wasn’t two weeks later that I started building my next site.

Well like many other people I waited, and waited some more and the people didn’t come. So then I decided to add a blog to my site and chose wordpress. At first it was a little tricky, I even banged my head against the wall a few times. Once I got the flow down and had to think about things it just all came to me.

It was like everything I have read from other people and the ideas I had collides and a bright light showed the way. I started seeing more traffic and started getting more comments on my blogs and it was the fuel that lit the fire!

Now I am on my 4th blog and am seeing more detail and have learned how to focus on niche rather than building a super blog. Now I know some valuable lessons and rules that have driven me to a new way of thinking and now I see the endless possibility of Marketing.

1. Have a vision

2. Find support and research (forums rock for learning information, cause they are the ones talking about what is what happening here)

3. Getting started- There can be a few expenses on the net. Domain hosting, Domain registration, Promotion, and the list goes on. You should be able to get good hosting t for under $10 and the same for registering your domain name. IF you are a blogger then you can save all that cash and find a free hosting site like blogger and many others.

4. How to promote for free? Write articles and add your bio at the bottom with your links of course! Submit them to directories and I have even paid to submit them before and it worked out, well. What about social networking, like yearbook, myspace, 360, bebo, Multiply, Facebook and this list is ever changing. Social networking is a great way to find fans and build a following. YOutube is another very hot networking sites that making many people a bunch of money! What about Social Bookmarking? What about Blog directories? They are great for traffic but you must complete that profile and get involved and get your name out there!

5. I have a tone of links everywhere on my computer, what do I do? Sounds like you need to spring-clean and build you a start page. To me the start Page has been my most valuable page I ever built. It has every link to every site including my link code to my sites and it is all on one page. I have everything listed in different categories like my music sites, my blogs, my reg sites, my financial sites, my social networking, social bookmarking, video , news, and many others. This is the Heartbeat of my on-line business!

6. Making money from your sites or blogs? People have found many ways to make money from your pages. You have many Ad companies and even companies that pay for blogs! You may have affiliates goods that match the content of you page! You may drive traffic to another site or refer to another company. I have a friend that makes $300 for referrals to another guys mortgage company. IF they close a deal he gets that fat check! They work together from across a whole country on the net.

7. Have you started making a little money and want to make more! Repeat what you just did with another niche. If you have managed to start making some, you can make more. Don’t get me wrong; it can take a very long time to make money. Some sites have taken near 5 years or even longer before the big bucks start flowing if they ever do! I still get excited every time someone links to me and never want to lose that feeling!

This is my 4th blog and I am focusing this blog as my marketing and networking blog. As I search across the net I am always looking for new programs and love to read what other people are saying about new affiliates.

So it sounds like a pretty legit and fair but it does pose a problem with marketing and how far people are will to go to make a buck. Not only will some people abuse the system and truly lie about what they write but may shed an unforeseen light on net opinion.

When bogging hit the net as a way to make money everybody and their cousin was burning up the keyboards and before long you could buy a new keyboard for under $10 at the dollar store! The Blog revolution has forever changed the way people look at the net and the other companies out there. People are not only blogging about how to make money but they blogging to make money through companies.

There are many ways to make money from your blog including ads that pay to affiliates to various pyramid type companies. I have seen many people who use their blog to send traffic to their other sites or many sites in some cases.

Here is a list of some ads and affiliates that I found.
ADsense, Kontera, bidvertiser, Amazon,
Shareasale, clickbank, commission junction,

That is just a few of them and there are many of them. It is really hard to tell what is scam and what is real. I chose to use adsense and shareasale and have been pretty happy with my earnings. I recommend that you pick a company that works for you and has a good reputation to others who have used it.

I have used some of the others and didn’t make any money from them but on the other hand my sites were new and I had very little traffic! The amount of money on my sites and blogs isn’t hardly worth writing home about, but it is better than not making anything!

When you pick a company make sure that what others are saying is not motivated by money and greed. There are also people that just want to bring down other companies or have a personal anger against their practices. Don’t get me wrong I think that blogging about truth and voicing an opinion is healthy and I do promote the practice. There is a good way and bad way to do this!
