Sydney- Australia has introduced a code of conduct similar to what you find in the movies. They have devised a coded of conduct for on-line and mobile phones. It is only for content that originates in Australia.
I am sure you will see many more rules and regulations in the United States soon. If you watch the news you see many kids getting in trouble for phone sex and sharing images!
The problem is , where are the borders? So is all information published on the net public or private? When you send it through a text are you broadcasting? When you use a service like twitter to broadcast links, I would say you are publicly broadcasting.
Ok if you send a picture of you to one person through your phone is this private? These are some of the many questions that can be asked about the net and your phone connected to it!
I can bet you that in the future private information exchange networks will be the big thing, who regulate them? Can the government just regulate everything till the point we no longer have any freedom? Who is going to regulate the regulators?
